Biggie warned us: mo money, mo problems. The Brooklyn legend’s sentiment has been celebrated and perpetuated in the rap community ever since he flowed these wise beyond his years words. However, before money is seen as a complication rather than security, making that paper is everything. The relatively new Brooklyn emcee, Dyme-A-Duzin, is here to remind everyone what he’s willing to risk for that chicken.

Dyme released the original “That Chicken” back in 2015. The hit track details what he’s witnessed people sacrifice for an extra dollar in his hometown of Utica, Brooklyn. Hustling corners and grand larceny are cornerstones in this endless paper pursuit and Dyme uses “That Chicken” to reveal the stronghold money has on its victims. The hunt is common and many people can identify with making as much money, by any means necessary.

Brooklyn’s own Hip Hop legend, Fabolous, knows a thing or two about risking it for the biscuit. In May 2016, he gave “That Chicken” the remix treatment and added his iconic smooth flow to the banger. Time and time again, Fab’s presence optimizes a track and elevates it to a new level—this scenario is no different. But in order to launch “That Chicken” to new heights, Dyme and Fab dropped an incredibly dope video on September 4th.

Already amassing over one-million hits, this World Star Hip Hop release is a bonafide hit. Watch Dyme and Fab kick it on a Brooklyn rooftop while they effortlessly spit over this hypnotic beat. Hopefully “That Chicken” is the first in a long line of collaborations for the two BK rappers.
